GE Gearbox Replacement
A 13,000-pound planetary gearbox from a General Electric 1.5 MW wind turbine (installed 2011) is being lowered from the nacelle. The inset shows the scale and affords a better look at the crane, lifted into place by the service crane and mounted to the nacelle.
